Visual poetry - by the lake...
As part of a 2min documentary in a videography elective, this project was conceived. The best thing about the campus where I stay that brings cheer to my thoughts is the lakeside, particularly during sunset. The cheer, activity and ample space for contemplation feels poetic and idyllic amidst all the madness that awaits ashore towards the very familiar work environment.
This video was an eyeopener in experiencing the lakeside from various unseen points of view, culminating with a poem that expresses thoughts to perfectly match the feelings on the lakeside....By the lake.
